You could easily overlook this tiny bird area. A small protected marsh of only some 30 hectares. It is hidden behind the hamlet of Courmelois and located between agricultural fields. A hiking trail of about one kilometer runs through the heart of it and is nice for birding in spring. You will need less than an hour to explore the area. Yet this can be a rewarding birdspot. wilga (zwyczajna) and gąsiorek are two of the nice birds you can find here. The landscape along the trail is open and you have a good view over the different kinds of marsh vegetation. From reeds to willows. Not an area for long walks, but nice if you are passing by or staying in the neighbourhood and with a chance to see wilga (zwyczajna) or gąsiorek.

Français: Vous pourriez facilement ignorer cette petite zone d'oiseaux. Un petit marais protégé ou seulement une trentaine d'hectares. Il est caché derrière le hameau de Courmelois et situé entre les champs agricoles. Un sentier de randonnée ou environ un kilomètre en traverse le cœur et est bon pour l'observation des oiseaux. Par une journée calme, vous aurez besoin de moins d'une heure pour explorer la région. Pourtant, cela peut être une tache d'oiseau étonnamment riche. wilga (zwyczajna) et gąsiorek sont deux des grands oiseaux que vous pouvez trouver ici et par une bonne journée, vous pouvez facilement y passer plus d'une heure. Il n'y a pas de peaux pour observer les oiseaux le long du sentier. Mais parce que le paysage est ouvert, l'observation des oiseaux le long du sentier est bonne à faire. Vous avez une bonne vue sur les différents types de végétation marécageuse. De déjà aux saules. Pas un endroit pour de longues promenades, mais agréable si vous passez ou restez dans le quartier et avec une bonne chance de voir wilga (zwyczajna) ou gąsiorek.

Drive through Courmelois and just behind the village you can find the wetland. You can park alongside the road. See the P on the map. The trail begins next to the information panel.
