Opis

Le Petit Lac de Pannecière is a small lake located to the north of the much bigger Pannecière reservoir. The lakes are located at the confluence of the Yonne and the Houssière rivers. The ornithological observatory on Petit Lac de Pannecière is situated at the end of a 100 meter stilted walkway. This bird hide allows you to observe the birds of the small lake and the surrounding nature reserve in peace. This site is nice for a quick visit if you are in the area. Mostly common birds like perkoz dwuczuby, perkozek, czapla siwa, wodnik (zwyczajny), łyska and different species of ducks. But during migration sometimes rarities turn up.

Parking with the large welcome sign, on the edge of RD 232, on the left bank of the river Yonne near the bridge over the river. Click on the P in the map to get directions.
