Lac des prés Saint-Jean is a lake which in spring shelters a colony of herons with czapla złotawa, czapla nadobna and ślepowron. At the end of August until the middle of September an important dormitory of czapla złotawa is on the island of the lake. At the level of the largest buildings close to the lake, there is a colony of jerzyk alpejski, jerzyk and oknówka. During cold winters the lake is visited by many gulls as well as loons and grebes.

Fin août jusqu'à la mi septembre un dortoir important de czapla złotawa se trouve sur l'île du plan d'eau. Au niveau des plus grands immeubles proches du plan d'eau, on retrouve une colonie de jerzyk alpejski , jerzyket oknówka. Au cours des hivers froids on retrouve tout un panel de laridés ainsi que les plongeons et les grèbes.
