Beautiful area with a great diversity of birds, unfortunately with a lot of tourist during summer but worth a detour.
This spectacular place is perfect to enjoy the landscape and birdwatching at the same time. There are several birdwatching spots along the ‘Sentier des Douaniers’ (GR34). In this unique pink granite atmosphere, you could see hidden, among the 300 million years old strange shaped rocks, many species such as brzegówka, ostrygojad, biegus morski, kląskawka. On the sea, you could see near the shore some głuptak, nurzyk, alka, lodowiec, mewa czarnogłowa and mewa srebrzysta.
If you are lucky, you might see some mammals such as Grey Seal, Dolphins, or even Sharks.
This trail is only accessible by foot, so you will need to park either at ‘Parking du Sémaphore’ (Chemin du Squevel, 22700 Perros-Guirec) or in the city centre of Saint-Guirec, near the beach. The route shown on the map is 2,4 km (oneway).
I would advise to avoid going there during summer because there are quite a lot of tourists. There is not a lot of public transport, so it is better to take a car.
In addition to being magnificent, the spot allows you to observe a nice number of different species. Perfect for a family outing, while birdwatching ;) Unfortunately little shade and a lot of tourists in summer...
