With an average height of 20 meters, the limestone cliffs of Falaises de Saffres offer good chances to observe the sokół wędrowny that nests there, but also other rock birds such as the płochacz halny which can be seen during the winter or the kawka all year round. The panoramic view at the top of the cliffs allows you to witness the flight of the kania ruda and the myszołów. The plateau overlooking the cliffs gives the opportunity to observe the typical species of the Burgundy bocage such as the gąsiorek or the skowronek.

The Falaises de Saffres are located 45 km west of the city of Dijon, directly north of the village of Saffres. There are two car parks where you can park your car very close to the cliffs, which you can then reach on foot: the car park at the foot of the cliffs from the D1191 (climbers often park there) or the car park at the summit from the D1119, via a white path. Press P on the map for directions to a car park.
