Etangs de Belval-en-Argonne is a nature reserve with several ponds and covers 203 hectares. The biggest pond is surrounded by a trail and has 3 bird hides. Great place for birdwatching as some less common species can often be seen here. Among the birds you can encounter are podróżniczek, rybitwa rzeczna, gągoł, perkoz dwuczuby, błotniak stawowy, potrzos, rokitniczka, trzciniak, brzęczka, bocian czarny, żuraw, czajka, zimorodek, gęgawa, Płaskonos, cyraneczka, czapla biała and cyranka.
