Opis
Col du Soulor is a good place for observing the migration of diurnal raptors. But the pass is also very interesting because of sedentary species such as orłosęp and sęp płowy. Very present on this site is also orzeł przedni and it is possible to see ścierwnik here too. In the surrounding forests you can also see very interesting species of passerines such as krzyżodziób świerkowy, pleszka or even białorzytka. There is also a bird migration counting post (1 on the map). Members of the "Oiseaux Cols Libres" association carry out a count of migrating birds. The autumn bird migration is particularly worthwhile here.

Col privilégié de passage pour la migration des rapaces diurnes, présence aussi d'espèces sédentaire très intéressantes comme le orłosęp, le sęp płowy très présent sur le site ou encore ścierwnik ou encore orzeł przedni. On peut aussi observer dans les forêts alentours pleins d'espèces de passeraux très intéressantes comme le krzyżodziób świerkowy, le pleszka ou encore des białorzytka. Starting from Arrens-marsous or Arbéost, climb the pass. There is a parking lot. Press a P in the map to get directions to a parking. The pass is also accessible via the walking trail of GR10.
