In spring and fall, Anse du Galon d'Or is a good spot for rybołów. In the reeds, you can observe chwastówka zwyczajna and wodnik (zwyczajny). While in the marshland, with a bit of luck, you may see pokrzewka kasztanowata. There are also kulik mniejszy, czapla nadobna, kląskawka and, during migration species such as pokląskwa and białorzytka.
In the neighboring pine trees, muchołówka żałobna and muchołówka szara hunt during migration, as well as pleszka, piecuszek and other species. świergotek polny can be observed in the dunes. At high tide, gulls, terns and groups of limicoles come onto the beach. Note that you have to take a different route along the inside of the bay at high tide. See a link to the tide table below.

Anse du Galon d'Or is located west of the town of Ronce-les-Bains. You can park on the Parking du Galon d'Or. Press P on the map for directions to the parking. There is also a beautiful cycle path (Parcours Vélo N°4) through the forest (forêt domaniale de la Coubre). The circular route shown on the map is about 2 km.
