Urban park along the fast flowing river Una in the small town of Bihać. The river has many small islands and small rapids. Some good birds can be found here.

Opis

Gradski Park Bihać is located along the fast flowing mountain river Una. In the winter there are hundreds of ducks, mainly krzyżówka. Some other duck species can be seen like krakwa, rożeniec and cyraneczka. In the trees there are common birds like bogatka (zwyczajna), modraszka and dzięcioł duży. In spring other birds can be seen in nearby trees at the park migrating back to the mountains above. Also at the park in spring you can see kapturka, zięba and some other species. During the breeding season, outside the city you can see pluszcz and nurogęś who nest nearby. Also other species like bocian biały, czapla siwa and myszołów.

You can park in the village and explore the area on foot. To explore the surrounding area further outside the city a car is necessary.
