Opis
The Verdronken Weide is a nature reserve of just over 40 ha near the village of Ieper/Ypres. The area has a deep pool and grasslands with varying water levels. More than 160 bird species occur in the area, including cyranka, Płaskonos, sieweczka rzeczna, szablodziób, ostrygojad, kszyk, rokitniczka, wodnik (zwyczajny) and podróżniczek. Part of the area is grazed by cattle. It is very close from Ieper (1km from the town hall), a grass path runs around it, various items to see (water, meadows, shrubs, trees, orchards). There is also a bird watching hide in the area.
