Opis
Maaswinkel is a nature reserve of 280 hectares near Maasmechelen. The area is located in a flood plain and has been given its current form by the activities of a former brick factory. Clay pits have been dug in the area, creating a varied landscape. It is an overgrown area with lush green en several ponds. You can hear an abundance of songbirds all singing together.
