Opis
The Handzame Broeken area consists of a extensive agricultural area, being mainly pastures, with scattered trees, bushes and willow tree lanes. The Kreekebeek river flows through the area and is a great spot for waterfowl, like cyraneczka, świstun and Płaskonos. The surrounding pastures are good for flocks of czajka. In winter, these pastures are part of the hunting grounds for błotniak zbożowy. In winter, area is also good for łabędź krzykliwy.
The scattered (willow) trees are great for observing pójdźka and siniak. The scattered bushes and fences are a great spot for breeding species, like kląskawka and pokląskwa.
