Opis
Drongengoed/ Maldegemveld is a mixed forest with a few heathland patches, one of the largest heathlands left in the province. With breeding species like lerka, świergotek drzewny, kobuz and piecuszek. In the forest you can find woodpeckers like dzięcioł średni and dzięcioł czarny and lots of other typical old forest species.

There are lots of interesting small paths with boardwalks over the more swampy places so going by foot is the best option, but the area is also very popular for cycling. You can park preferrably at the Krakeelparking or else at Het Jagershof or De Drongengoedhoeve.
