The area has a nice mixture of species. In winter most interesting is the open water in the north, in spring the best is the reserve itself. In the winter regularly some nice ducks are present like bielaczek, nurogęś, hełmiatka. In spring most normal birds of reedbeds are present in the reserve with rokitniczka, trzcinniczek (zwyczajny), wąsatka sometimes and depending on the year and some luck bąk.

Nederlands: De Bospolder is een mooi gebied met rietvelden, jong bos en diep open water vlakbij de stad Antwerpen en de haven. Het gebied heeft een mooie mix van soorten. In de winter is het open water in het noorden het meest interessant, in het voorjaar het reservaat zelf. In de winter zijn er regelmatig leuke eenden aanwezig zoals bielaczek, nurogęś en hełmiatka. In het voorjaar vind je in de rietkragen in het reservaat rokitniczka, trzcinniczek (zwyczajny), wąsatka en soms en afhankelijk van het jaar en met wat geluk een bąk.

You can park the car and walk. The tracks are best done on foot, a bike is not very handy.
