Opis
With about 4 hectares of water and reed this area is the biggest water biotope in Bad Vöslau. Combined with the forest area and neighboured fields, several animal and plant species can be encountered here. By the western pond you can find zimorodek (especially in winter!) and potrzos. Usually kokoszka (zwyczajna) rest near the water's edges or on the trail, although they are very shy. wodnik (zwyczajny) has been spotted here as well. Take a look at the trees across the water because czapla siwa and czapla biała like to rest there. In the eastern area you can find different species like raniuszek zwyczajny, dzięcioł duży, dzięcioł białoszyi and so on. Benches to rest can be found around the ponds or by the fishing hut. Heading to the fields and vineyards in the north you are likely to see krogulec, myszołów, pustułka (zwyczajna), bażant deers and rabbits.
