Opis
Only 15 km from Innsbruck, the Inzinger Gaisau is one of the last floodplains in the Inn Valley. It has ponds, woodlands, agricultural fields, wet meadows, reedbeds and borders the shores of the river Inn. This makes Inzinger Gaisau rich in habitats and therefore rich in birds.
Birds you can see here are kwiczoł, piecuszek, nurogęś, zimorodek, samotnik, zaganiacz kapturka, dzięciołek and both pełzacz leśny and pełzacz ogrodowy and many species of tits. In winter sometimes you can encounter large flocks of szczygieł, czyż, and in late winter jer.
On the northern waters edge you have a good view on meadows and reedbeds. You can find pokląskwa here and with some luck kania czarna. On the pond you can see perkozek and different kinds of ducks. Around the reedbeds check for wodnik (zwyczajny), potrzos, trzcinniczek (zwyczajny), trzciniak and rokitniczka.
