Opis
Djimla Forest is also known as Forêt de Bouafroune. The forest sits at an elevation of 1,287 meters. It is a mixed forest with clearings where Algerian Nuthatch and muchołówka atlasowa can be observed. Other birds that have been spotted include sęp płowy, gadożer, orzełek, puszczyk (mauritanica), dudek, żołna, dzięcioł algierski, kruk and wilga (zwyczajna).

Djimla Forest is located south of the town of Djimla (marked with 1 on the map). It is best to explore the forest with a guide. There are local bird guides in Djimla (Karim Haddad: karim241267@yahoo.fr, Walid Soukkou: soukkouw@yahoo.com).
