107 hectare woodland in Chiltern Hills run by Berks, Bucks and Oxon Wildlife Trust. 15 orchid species, hides, visitor centre, wildlife packs.
Warburg Reserve is an educational, child-friendly reserve with pond and two hides. Nesting woodland birds eg Spettmeis, Trekryper, Gulspurv, Svartmeis, Løvmeis, Tårnfalk, Glente, Dompap, Gransanger and Munk. 15 orchid species plus herb paris, gentians, bluebell, wood anemone.
Sited midway between Wallingford and Henley, (which is nearest railway station). From the A4130 turn into Bix Village. Turn left into Rectory Lane. Go down steep hill and turn left at bottom, signposted Bix Bottom. Continue on lane (some potholes so drive carefully) for about 1 mile until reaching the car park on the right. Nearest bus stop is in Bix or Nettlebed.
