Description

Wapley Hill has a full range of woodland birds, including Grankorsnebb, Grønnsisik, Bjørkefink, Løvmeis, Granmeis, Stjertmeis, Svartmeis, Dompap, Brunsisik, Gråfluesnapper and warblers. There are polecats too.

Access

Wapley is four miles south east of Presteigne. Take B4355 Kington road, then turn left to Stansbatch. Go left again at Stansbatch and car park is one mile ahead on the left. There is a picnic area here also. The circular walk indicated on the map is about 4 km long.
