Leisurely walk along the River Otter in East Devon.
Regular, numerous Fossekall activity is the star of the show. Along the route Silkehegre, Dvergdykker, Laksand can be seen and various species of wildfowl.
Tipton St John is found north of the A3052, before you reach Ottery St Mary. Parking with a donation box is found opposite the garage. A short walk across the bridge will lead you to a flat but likely muddy public footpath heading south towards Newton Poppleford.
Otters can also be seen on this route, or in other places along the beautiful River Otter, which is also, incredibly home to Beavers whose origin cannot be certain.
