Scotttish Loch with quiet road running along the edge, set in the the Cairngorms National Park.

Description

This is a favourite place with birders in Scotland. In Spring and early Summer there are Storlom on the loch and Fiskeørn fish here. In the surrounding area there are both Lirype and Svartstrupe, assorted raptors, and Fiskemåke breed here in summer. You may also see Storspove and Vipe. There are some Mountain Hare present in Winter.

Access

Access by Car or Bike. Easy to find from Carrbridge / Grantown on Spey / Inverness. For parking there are several pull-ins off the road. Do not block passing places or entrances.

Park the car, and there are tracks that can can be followed on foot, but no circular route.
