Description

From the Bergand to the snowy white Grønlandsmåke, the birds that can turn up at Hollowell Reservoir provide hours of birding. Other bird species you might spot include Polarsvømmesnipe, Myrsnipe, Sandlo as well as Gulerle, Steinskvett, Svartstrupe and Skjærpiplerke. And, if you are lucky, you may even spot Fiskeørn and Lerkefalk that regularly pay a visit. Note: Access to Hollowell Reservoir Nature Reserve is available for permit holders only (see more info below).

Access to Hollowell Reservoir Nature Reserve is available for permit holders only. To enjoy the peace and tranquility of the site for either walking, birdwatching, fishing or sailing a permit is required.
