Description

Hogsmill Local Nature Reserve has open parkland, chalk stream and woodland. A diverse habitat confined in a small area. 64 bird species have been recorded here in just one year making it a top urban birding spot within the confines of greater London. Breeding Kattugle, Vannrikse and one of the best sites in Surrey to see and photograph Isfugl, make the reserve a real jewel in the county.

Access

Open to all, easily accessible by foot, bike, train, car and bus. Closest station is Ewell West on the South Western Railway. Most of the surrounding neighbourhood is free parking. It also forms part of the London Loop foot path.
