Description

The brickworks only closed in the 1980’s and since then the buildings were cleared with just concrete foundations and a brick wharf giving any hint to the history of this site. Sørnattergal and Turteldue can be heard, and a colony of Svartehavsmåke are usually found nesting offshore on Fowley Island. Among the other birds you can encounter in the area are Møller, Ringgås, Gravand, Gjøk, Siland, Avosett, Tjeld, Tundralo, Vipe, Storspove, Myrsnipe and Svarthalespove.
