Dense reed bed make it difficult to see the water surface, but definitely worth a visit. Go there, and you might observe rare subspecies of Trane.
Lake Kaz is an area of gardens, wetland habitats, orchards, rocky hills, bushes and many other habitats. All these various habitat types make the area rich in terms of birds and wildlife. There is a subspecies of Trane which can be seen in Anatolia and a few neighboring countries. This subspecies (Grus grus archibaldi) is rare and vulnerable. Grus grus archibaldi differs from the nominate subspecies by the nearly completely black head plate (red in Grus g. grus) and the light yellow eyes (red, orange or yellow in Grus g. grus). Also, there is Balkanhauk which can be seen in the gardens. It is not a difficult place to explore. Best time for a visit is spring and spring migration.
You can go to Lake Kaz by car. It is close to the main road which connects districts. Click on a P in the map for directions or coordinates. The circular route indicated on the map is about 15 km.
