Wet meadow and shallow ponds area of 4.8 hectares in the plain of the Emme and the Urtenen. It is home to the second largest Vipe colony in Switzerland.
The Fraubrunnenmoos lies in the alluvial plain of the Emme and the Urtenen. Vipe, Dverglo and Sanglerke breed in the wet grasslands and along the shallow ponds. The area is also an important resting place for migrating waders. So far, more than 20 species of waders have been observed here.
The area is located north of the village of Fraubrunnen. A viewing hill offers views of the area. Click on the P in the map to get directions.
