Description

Vitsippsdalen is a deciduous forest with large amounts of dead wood. Four species of woodpeckers live here and abundant nesting of songbirds. Kattugle also nest in the forest. In the area there are also a number of small forest lakes with a rich bird life.

Access

Easy to reach from the city of Gothenburg. Trams no 1, 2, 7, 8 or 13 to the stop Botaniska Trädgården. Buses no 16, 42, 52, 87, 760, 764 or 765 to the stop Annedalskyrkan. There is a network of trails to explore the area. In weekends the area can be busy when there are many people who walk, cycle and run on the many nice paths.
