Description

Stormossens Fågeltorn is a low observation tower in Stormossen i Östa nature reserve. It is a large and open bog surrounded by forest. Marsh with old pines. Trane, Ravn, Enkeltbekkasin, Skogsnipe and Storspove can be observed around the bog. Fiskeørn or Havørn can be spotted flying over.

Access

Follow the signs from road 56 south of Tärnsjö towards Östa naturreservat. Once in the reserve, turn in at P symbol and a small signpost towards bird tower. Click on the P in the map for directions. From the parking follow the 300 m path out to the observation tower. In the tower there is a bench to sit on. Next to the tower is an information sign about the bog. In wet weather the path can be muddy. Bring mosquito repellent!
