Nygårdsängen nature reserve is an easy accessible wetland near the city of Vänersborg. Every year the reeds are cut in the large pond so that it will stay a good environment for birds. Nygårdsängen is worth a visit all year round. Among the nice birds you can see here are Vannrikse, Myrrikse, Sivspurv, Kvinand and Enkeltbekkasin.
