Description
In spring and summer Lövstaslätten is a good place to see many birds of prey like Enghauk, Myrhauk, Glente and Havørn. Even very rare species like Steppehauk and Svartglente have been seen here.
In autumn many migrating birds pass through here like Heilo and rarities like Tartarpiplerke and Boltit have been seen. Snøspurv and Bergirisk spend there winters here.

Access
Lövstaslätten is vast and one can birdwatch anywhere, the area marked on the map is located just south-east of Uppsala outside of a village called Danmark and just one kilometer from Linnés Hammarby, where one can find a bigger parking lot. Parking is otherwise tricky and not intended. You can get here by both car and bike. Click on a P in the map to get directions to that spot.
