Description
Lillängsgölen is easily accessible by a bird observation tower. The lake is best from May to June when the breeding birds arrive. In the reed Sivsanger, Vannrikse and Sivspurv breed. On the coastal wetlands Trane, Rugde Enkeltbekkasin and Vipe breed. Smålom, Horndykker, Stokkand, Krikkand, Sangsvane and Kvinand breed on the lake. Some years Skogsnipe, Taffeland, Kanadagås, Sivhauk, andLerkefalk breed.
In the forest around many pine favouring birds breed, some more common are Orrfugl, Toppmeis, Tornskate, Storfugl, Jernspurv, Vendehals, Dvergspett, Flaggspett, Svartspett, Gransanger, Fiskeørn, Spurvehauk, and Musvåk.

Access
Lillängsgölen is located 18 km northeast of Eksjö. There is a small parking lot next to the road. Press P on the map for directions to the parking lot. The trail to the birding tower (500 m) is not clearly marked.
