A shallow bay of the Baltic sea coast. A nice bird-rich place on the east coast of Öland with an iconic lighthouse and the ruins of St. Birgittas chapel.
Shallow bay surrounded by grasslands and some bushes. Good for coastal and wetland birds year-round. Among the birds you can see here are Svarthalespove, Storspove, Dvergterne, Havelle and Knekkand. And many more, see the birdlist below.
By car or bicycle. Leave the eastern main road of Öland opposite of Bredsätra church. Drive to the coast. Parking possible at a small parking area. Click on the P in the map to get directions.
