Shallow bay with rich bird life. You can see a mix of ducks, terns, gulls and waders.
Fårö’s southernmost cape, Ryssnäs, is a large nature reserve with old, windswept pines, large gray cobblestone fields and extensive pebble beaches formed by sea waves and sheep grazing. The shallow bay of Hyluvik attracts birds like Dvergterne, Splitterne, Ærfugl, Siland, Krikkand, Tjeld and Avosett.
By car or bicycle from Broa or at Fårö church.
In the central parts of the Ryssnäs reserve there is a lot of pine forest and one of Gotland's few peat bogs. But the bog is difficult to access.
