Bird observation tower at Harudden that offers views of the shallow Kallriga Bay in the Kallriga nature reserve.
The observation tower at Harudden stands on a rocky outcrop right next to the water and offers a great view on the shallow bay of Kallrigafjärden and grazed flower-rich beach meadows. A natural landscape that attracts many birds. During the migratory season, large numbers of seabirds roost in Kallrigafjärden. On an early spring morning there are plenty of ducks, geese and swans. Good chances to see Havørn.
To get to the bird tower there are two choices from the reserve's parking, both are about 1 km long. Either follow the road a bit north and turn in where there are signs for Harudden and the boathouse. Or, you can take the slightly more hilly road through the pasture and past the view on Länsmansberget. At the boathouse, which you pass regardless of route, there is a picnic table right by the water. Up in the tower there is a bench. Click on the P in the map for directions.
