Description

Fiby Urskog is an old growth forest that is comprised of many old and dead trees. This has drawn the attention of woodpeckers like Svartspett and Tretåspett. There are no birdtowers or platforms in the area but the forest offers a pleasant walk.

Access

The nature reserve lies about 16 km west of Uppsala, past Vänge. You can visit this forest both by car and by bike. Click on the P in the map to get directions. The circular walk shown on the map is about 3 km long.
