The Lagunas de Corral-Rubio are home to a wide variety of aquatic birds and has a good population of steppe birds in nearby areas. Among the birds you can encounter are, depending on the season, Stortrappe, Trane, Rødhodeand, Hvithodeand, Flamingo, Hvitbuksandhøne and Svartbuksandhøne. Keep in mind that these are seasonal lagoons and that they are sometimes almost or completely dry.

Access
The lagoons are easy accessible from the village of Corral-Rubio. Click on the P in the map for directions. To see steppe birds it is advisable to take a car tour between the lagoons and through the surrounding area.
