Description

Easy hike of 2 km on a dirt road from the chapel of Ermita de la Pietat to the Bassa de la Ermita pond. Through uninhabited fallow land and well-tended olive groves. This varied landscape is home to many birds. You can hear many birds, such as Pirol, Gulirisk, Sørnattergal , Munk, Grønnfink, Svarttrost and Tyrkerdue, and observing birds like Gråspurv, Taksvale, Låvesvale and Hærfugl. Depending on the water level in the pond, which is fed by rain, water birds such as Sothøne , Stokkand and Gråhegre can be spotted.

Español: Es un paseo fácil de 2 km por un camino de tierra desde la Ermita de la Piedad hasta la charca de la Ermita. Atraviesa campos en barbecho y olivares bien cuidados. Este variado paisaje alberga una gran variedad de aves, y se pueden escuchar numerosas especies, como... Pirol, Gulirisk, Sørnattergal , Munk, Grønnfink, Svarttrost y Tyrkerdue, y ver otras como Gråspurv, Taksvale, Låvesvale y Hærfugl. Dependiendo del nivel del agua en la charca, que depende de la lluvia, puede haber aves acuáticas como Sothøne , Stokkand y Gråhegre.

Access

The Ermita de la Pietat is located north of the village of Ulldecona. There is a large parking lot next to the hermitage. Press P on the map for directions to the parking lot. The parking is the starting point for the hike (2 km one way, 4 km there and back).
