Description
Desembocadura Riera de Riudoms (Maspujols) or the mouth of the Riudoms stream forms a small sheet of water when it reaches the sea surrounded by some reeds. Stokkand and Sivhøne breed here. However, it is during migration when other species such as Pungmeis, Rørsanger, or Vannrikse can be seen. It is in winter when the place is most interesting to visit, especially to look for some Fiskemåke among the Svartehavsmåke and Hettemåke or a Kanadahettemåke that has been wintering here for several years. Also, if you look out to sea, you can find Siland, Toppdykker or the commoner Storskarv or Toppskarv.
If you visit the place from November to march after 4 pm you can wait until dusk when thousands of Svartehavsmåke come to rest at sea after washing their plumage in fresh water. But you never know which place they will choose. It can be north of this point, also in Salou, or just south the Cambrils fishing port.

Access
You can go walking or by bike easily from Salou or Cambrils. There is also a bus stop near by. You can also park easily if you don't go in the summer. But in summer the place has little interest anyway.
