At Desembocadura Rambla de las Moreras you can see waterfowl, birds associated with the marine environment and mainly passerines. Among the birds you can see are Middelhavsmåke, Gulbeinmåke, Stylteløper, Dverglo, Myrsnipe, Tundrasnipe, Krattvarsler, Stillits, Tornirisk, Grønnfink, Gulirisk, Amursvale, Låvesvale, Taksvale and Alpeseiler.

From Mazarrón to Bolnuevo, by either of the two ring roads that lead to Puerto de Mazarrón. The final part of the promenade is next to the abandoned facilities of an old Bolnuevo campsite that was closed after torrential rains in 1989 washed away it.
