Description
During migration periods, Collado Lindus is one of the highways for birds crossing the Pyrenees. It is an observation point for birds that migrate between northern Europe and southern Europe or Africa. At the top of Ibañeta you have the Roncesvalles Bird Migration Centre (see star on the map). Thousands of birds can be observed. The following are usually abundant: Trane, Svartglente, Vepsevåk, Ringdue and Skogdue. Also good for other birds of prey like Sivhauk, Spurvehauk, Glente, Slangeørn and Dvergørn.

Collado Lindus is located on the border between Spain and France. Leaving Pamplona on the N-135 towards France, once past Roncesvalles you can stop at the top of Ibañeta. Press P on the map for directions.
