Description
The Ucieda forest presents all kinds of facilities and possibilities for bird watching. It is possible to walk along the paved roads and observe in the clearings of the forest passerines like Toppmeis and Kjøttmeis or corvids like Nøtteskrike and Svartkråke. You can also take trails that go deeper into the forest to see woodpeckers like Flaggspett, Mellomspett, Svartspett, or birds like Dompap or Spettmeis. Near the Bayones River, which accompanies a good part of the routes you can observe Fossekall, Vintererle and Gråhegre. The luckiest will be able to find nocturnal raptors such as Kattugle or Dverghornugle.

Espagnol: El Bosque de Ucieda es una de las partes más accesibles y bellas del Parque Natural Saja-Besaya. Un paseo inexcusable para los amantes de las aves y los bosques. El bosque de Ucieda presenta todo tipo de facilidades y posibilidades para el vistamiento de aves adaptadas al bosque atlántico. Es posible pasear por las rutas asfaltadas y observar en los claros del bosque paseriformes páridos como el Toppmeis o el Kjøttmeis o córvidos como el Nøtteskrike o la Svartkråke. También pueden tomarse sendas que profundizan más en el bosque para ver piciformes como el Flaggspett o el Mellomspett. Los más valientes podrán adentrarse en la profundidad del bosque y disfrutar de la compañía de otras aves como el Svartspett, el Dompap o el Spettmeis. No puede obviarse la presencia del río Bayones que acompaña buena parte de los trayectos con sus Fossekall, Vintererle o Gråhegre. It is possible to reach a point quite deep in the forest by car, where there is a car park and several areas where it is possible to park if the previous one is full. If the walk is reduced to paved areas, the route can be very comfortable and accessible for everyone. However, if you want to get off the busiest routes, there are paths that may be somewhat less accessible. It all depends on the will of the birder. The circular walking route indicated on the map is about 11 km.

Espagnol: Es posible llegar en coche hasta un punto bastante adentrado en el bosque, donde existe un aparcamiento y varias zonas donde es posible aparcar si el anterior estuviese lleno. Si se reduce el paseo a las zonas asfaltadas, la ruta puede ser muy cómoda y accesible para todo el mundo. Sin embargo, si se quiere salir de las rutas con mayor bullicio, existen sendas que pueden ser algo menos accesibles. Todo depende de la voluntad del pajarero/a.
