Description

Ganseo Wetland Eco Park (강서습지생태공원) is a wetland area located in Seoul. Every winter, hundreds of Common Pochard and Tufted Duck winter in this area. If you are lucky, there can be rare or vagrant waterfowl among the flocks. You can also observe Long-eared Owl, Long-tailed Rosefinch, Bull-headed Shrike, Rustic Bunting, and Eastern Buzzard.

Access

Gangseo Wetland Eco Park is located along the Hangang River west of Seoul. The access is possible by car or public transport. You might need to walk around 20~30 minutes if you take the public transport, since there is no station right in front of the area. The walking route shown on the map is about 2 km one way.
