Description

Near the small village of Stega Mala there are the ponds of Stegieński Staw (12 ha) and Czarny Staw (Browarny Staw) (1.5 ha) and several smaller ponds. The fish ponds of Stawy Stega Mała are private ponds that are a very important area for birds during spring and fall migration. Among the birds you can see in the area are Sangsvane, Skjeand, Knekkand, Stjertand, Kvinand, Laksand, Vannrikse, Åkerrikse, Dvergdykker, Makrellterne, Rødnebbterne, Enkeltbekkasin and Kvartbekkasin.
