Retention reservoir on the Służewiecki stream, almost in the center of the city of Warsaw. Recreation and birdwatching area.
Staw Służewiecki is a small pond of approx. 2.5 hectares with good access and easy to reach from the city. There are walking and cycling paths around the pond. Good for releaxed birdwatching, both on the water and on the shore.

Polski: Staw jest zbiornikiem retencyjnym na potoku służewieckim, niemal w środku miasta. Teren rekreacyjny i do obserwacji ptaków. Nieduży staw (ok. 2,5 ha), z dobrym dojazdem, dojściem. Ścieżki piesze i rowerowe wokół. Łatwość w obserwacji ptaków, zarówno na wodzie, jakmi na brzegu.
Access by public transport (Wyścigi tram terminus), buses (Wyścigi stop), by car (parking lot at the Smyczkowa bazaar, click on the P in the map for directions). A walk around the pond is best on foot, but you can go by bike.

Observations can be made from the shore, from the pier, from the bridge over the weir. Most birds are accustomed to the presence of people, and are fed in winter.
