A shallow pool near the village of Bartniki. The pool and the surroundings with an area of 92 hectares attract many birds.
Rozlewisko Bartniki is a valuable place for migratory birds. It is a depression of the area, constituting a basin located between the hills. There was once a Bartnickie lake here, which was drained and then turned into meadows and pastures. In order to improve the living conditions for birds the water level has been raised, a shallow pool was created and conditions for birds got better. In this relatively small area more than 100 bird species have been recorded, of which 41 are breeding species. You can find many waders such as Vipe, Storspove and Enkeltbekkasin. The area is also important for ducks, especially when migrating. Among the other birds you can observe in the area are Gråstrupedykker, Svarthalsdykker, Hvitvingesvartterne, Dvergrørdrum, Rørdrum, Svartstork and Havørn.
The best way to get to Olsztyn is the road to Kiwity through Jeziorany. Then the road from Kiwity to Bartniki.
