Lista Lighthouse at the southwestern tip of Norway is a hub for migratory birds during spring and autumn. No other site in Norway has more species recorded.
More than 340 bird species are recorded on this site. Lista Bird Observatory is based here. They monitor the bird migration in every season.
The place got a big parking, and the area might be explored by walking around the lighthouse or by using the seawatching hide or the observation platform. The route you see on the map is about 3 km.
The Visitor Centre Wetland Lista is located at Lista Lighthouse. This centre serves all those who want to experience and learn about the international protection status of the Lista Wetland System, especially focusing on the RAMSAR areas at Lista, the protected areas at Lista, the bird migration and Slevdalsvannet nature reserve.
