We stayed in the parks camping ground for two nights and it really is worth the visit. Stalking for the brown kiwi in the nights we heard the kakas sqawking in the trees over us, Wetas on the ground, a magical New-Zealand forest experience. The Beachis magical too, we even saw the Banded Dotterels breeding nex t us on the beach.
