Small creek that originated in the Second World War and which attracts many birds.
The creeks to the south of Westkapelle were created as a direct result of the war at the end of 1944. The bombardments of the dikes caused enormous bodies of water to flow through the hole in the dike day in and day out. This created deep channels, which now form the creeks. The eastern part of the creek is a quiet place where many birds rest or breed. Among the birds you can see in the area are Myrhauk, Sivhauk, Hønsehauk, Toppand, Dvergdykker, Vannrikse, Isfugl, Gjøk and Turteldue.

Small parking possibility. There are several walking paths with marked signs along the creek remains.
