Description

Rhederlaag is a recreational area around approximately 300 hectares of former gravel pits on the river IJssel. One of the better places to see diving ducks, grebes and divers in the winter around Arnhem. In the winter you can regularly find diving ducks, grebes and divers at the Rhederlaag, which are scarce for inland areas. You can often find Svarthalsdykker here and sometimes also Horndykker or Storlom.
