Description
Noordma is a new wetland that connects to the lake Zuidlaardermeer. The area development is almost complete. It will soon be possible to cycle or walk around the area. A viewpoint has been created near Zuidlaardermeer. The area is opposite the already very bird-rich area Tusschenwater (also described on Birdingplaces).

Nederlands: Noordma is een nieuw ontwikkeld moerasachtig gebied voor watervogels dat aansluit op het Zuidlaardermeer. De gebiedsontwikkeling bijna gereed. Binnenkort is het mogelijk om met fiets of lopend rondom het gebied te gaan. Nabij het Zuidlaardermeer is een uitzichtpunt gecreëerd. Het gebied ligt tegenover het al zeer vogelrijke gebied Tusschenwater (ook beschreven op Birdingplaces).

Access
Noordma is located directly north of the town of Zuidlaren on the lake Zuidlaardermeer. Accessible by car via the Meerweg road and there is also a parking facility. Press P on the map for directions. The walking route around the area is approximately 4 km.
